Police seek public’s help in identifying theft suspects

Provided by Boise police

Boise police officers are circulating surveillance photos and looking for information about a man and woman believed to have taken a wallet out of purse that was in a shopping cart at a Boise retail store Tuesday afternoon.

The pair then reportedly went to another store and used credit cards taken out of the stolen wallet to purchase several gift cards, police said.

The man had a brown goatee and wore a baseball cap, a black winter coat and blue jeans. The woman had long dark hair and wore a hooded jacket and blue jeans, police said.

Anyone who recognizes the suspects or has information about the incidents is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS. And police urge area residents to keep an eye on their purses and bags while shopping.
