Former Horseshoe Bend School District official sentenced to prison for embezzlement

A former Horseshoe Bend School District business manager was sentenced to 10 years in prison for felony misuse of public funds, according to court documents.

Robb Greiner was first charged with taking public funds in September 2014, accused of taking about $53,000 from the school district for the 2 1/2 years he worked there.

Greiner pleaded guilty to the charge in Aug. 8. He will be in prison for 3 years without parole, and an additional 7 years with a chance for parole. He will also face an extra 10 years of probation, according to court documents.
