A 37-year-old man was shot in the torso on his front porch Sunday evening, Caldwell police report.
Investigators said two male suspects reportedly left the area in a dark two-door passenger car, but no description of those suspects was available Monday. The man reportedly saw two males near his front yard when he went out on his porch in the 2000 block of Lincoln Street, police said.
Police received a shots-fired call at 7:36 p.m. and found the injured man on his porch. The man was alert and transported to a local hospital with wounds described as not life-threatening, police said.
Three shotgun shell casings were located at the scene, police said. No further information was available Monday.
