Juvenile charges planned in Boise store burglary

Boise police have identified a male juvenile as the suspect in the Oct. 15 burglary of a Boise business, and charges are pending, police announced Friday.

Earlier this month, police distributed surveillance photos taken inside the store at North Liberty Street and West Fairview Avenue and speculated that the slightly built burglar, clad in a hooded sweatshirt, was at least 18 years old.

Now that investigators have identified an underage suspect, the case is in the hands of the Ada County juvenile prosecutor's office. The burglar reportedly forced his way into the store before dawn and made off with undisclosed items, police said.
