Two men are being held in the Ada County Jail on multiple felony charges related to incidents in both Nampa and Boise, according to a news release from the Nampa Police Department.

Ammon Henderson, a 20-year-old from Middleton, has been charged with five felonies, including receiving or transferring of a stolen vehicle, robbery, grand theft and two counts of burglary, according to court records. He also has two warrants for failure to appear. Henderson’s bail is set at $312,000.

Aaron Child, a 19-year-old from Boise, was arrested on suspicion of felony burglary and also two probation violations. Child’s bail was set at $5,000 on the burglary charge, but he is not eligible because of the nonbailable probation infractions, according to court records.

Henderson and Child are suspected of robbing a fast-food restaurant on the 16000 block of N. Marketplace Boulevard in Nampa on July 8, according to the release. Child allegedly entered the restaurant wearing a motorcycle helmet and dark clothing, making off with the cash register till and an undisclosed amount of money.

Henderson, who was identified by witnesses as a former employee of the restaurant, is accused of serving as Child’s getaway driver, using a maroon pickup that was recently reported stolen in Canyon County, police said.

Henderson was arrested July 11 near a fast-food restaurant in the 100 block of N. Milwaukee Street in Boise, where he was in possession of a stolen motorcycle, according to the release. Child was arrested on July 15 in Ada County. Both men were taken into custody without incident, the release said.

The stolen pickup that was used in the Nampa robbery, along with a stolen trailer, were located in the Robie Creek area of Boise County on July 15, according to authorities.

Robbery charges related to the Nampa incident are forthcoming, Nampa police said.
