Treasure Valley bus driver faces child porn charges, Idaho AG’s office says
A Treasure Valley bus driver was arrested this week for allegedly possessing and distributing child pornography.
The Idaho Attorney General’s Office said in a press release Thursday that a 42-year-old man was apprehended a day earlier and is facing four counts of possessing child sexual exploitation material and one count of distribution. Both are felonies.
The release said that at the time of his arrest, the man was employed as a bus driver with a company that contracts with local schools. Neither the release not court records indicated what company or school districts he worked for, but the records did say he lived in Caldwell.
The AG’s office said investigators did not find evidence of local victims in this case.
The man is being held at the Canyon County jail on a $1 million bond.
