The investigation is ongoing, and police say additional search warrants have been issued.

The Boise Police Department arrested a 19-year-old man and four juveniles Wednesday who they say are connected to recent attacks on vulnerable adults.

The 19-year-old was booked into the Ada County Jail and faces eight felony charges, including counts of robbery, attempted robbery, aggravated assault and battery with intent to commit a serious felony, according to a police news release.

Four juveniles were arrested on a variety of charges and booked into the Ada County Juvenile Detention Center, the release said. The investigation is still in progress, with additional search warrants being served and more charges possible, police said.

The release said police received a report that several young people attacked a vulnerable adult on Oct. 12, and identified the five suspects through an investigation. Police also said they found evidence of a second assault and victim, also a vulnerable adult, on Aug. 2.

The teens attempted to rob the victim before physically assaulting him in the first incident, the release said, and in the second, police believe a man was lured to a location before being attacked and robbed.

Police said not all of the suspects were involved in both incidents.

The Boise Police Juvenile Detectives, School Resource Officers and Special Victims Unit all have been involved in the investigations, police said. They asked anyone with information of similar incidents to contact Ada County Dispatch at (208) 377-6790.
