Boise man faces multiple child sex-crime charges after pair of arrests
A Boise man arrested in May on sex-crime charges involving a minor was arrested again in October and charged with several counts of sexual exploitation of a child.
Online court records show that Konnor Austin, 22, was arrested in early May on charges of lewd conduct with a minor and sexual exploitation of a child, both felonies. He entered not guilty pleas and posted $150,000 bond.
On Oct. 2, Austin was arrested again after police conducted a search, and he was charged with six counts of possessing child sexually exploitative material and one count of child sexual exploitation, court records showed.
According to a criminal complaint, the alleged acts of lewd conduct and sexual exploitation of a child occurred between February and May this year.
Austin’s bond in the October arrest was set at $500,000, and he has a preliminary hearing scheduled for Nov. 4 at 8:30 a.m. He was still in the Ada County Jail as of Tuesday.
