A shooting in northern Boise left one person injured on Saturday night.

Boise police responded to a reported shooting at 10:52 p.m. on West Forsythia Drive and found an injured man in front of a house, Haley Williams, Boise police spokesperson, told the Idaho Statesman in an email.

Officers provided medical aid until Ada County paramedics arrived. Paramedics rushed the victim to a local hospital with injuries that “appeared on scene to be serious but non-life-threatening,” Williams said.

Williams said no suspect had been arrested as of Sunday afternoon.

Williams said an investigation is ongoing.

Police did not answer the Idaho Statesman’s additional question.

Law enforcement asked anyone with information on this incident to contact Ada County Dispatch at 208-377-6790.
