The Boise Police Department arrested a suspect in a child enticement case Friday, and the Boise man is accused of obtaining and viewing child pornography online.

Gary Williams, 48, also could face federal charges of receipt of child pornography, and police said they fear there could be more victims.

Boise police responded to a report of possible child enticement related to online activity on July 7, according to a Tuesday news release. After reviewing Williams’ social media account, officers said they found multiple inappropriate comments he made on posts of children, the release stated.

With that information, the Boise Police Special Victims Unit launched an investigation and found that Williams had obtained and reviewed child pornography, and engaged in sexual conversation with children online, according to the release.

Detectives obtained a warrant for Williams’ arrest and conducted a search of his home on July 18, police said.

Police are still investigating and encouraged anyone with information to contact Ada County Dispatch at 208-377-6790.
