Meridian police arrested a 24-year-old man accused of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl he met through the youth ministry at their church.

The man, Isaiah Teague, was arrested on five felony counts of lewd conduct with a child under 16 after an investigation into multiple incidents reported in 2024 and ‘25, police said in a Thursday news release. Under Idaho code, the definition of “lewd conduct with a minor” includes sexual assault or rape.

The release did not specify the date of the arrest, but Ada County Jail records show that Teague was booked Thursday evening.

The department will not be releasing additional details about the case because of its sensitivity and the victim’s age, according to the release.

Police asked anyone with information about the investigation, or others who believe they may have been victims, to contact the department at (208) 888-6678.
