One person was arrested after a two-vehicle accident in Ada County on Saturday night.

A 35-year-old Boise man was driving a Ford truck east on East Hill Road in Eagle when he struck a Kia SUV heading south through the Idaho Highway 55 intersection, the Eagle Police Department said in a social media post.

The Eagle Police Department and Ada County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene at 11:38 p.m., according to Eagle police.

Police said that both the 28-year-old female Kia driver and Ford driver were transported to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.

After his release, the driver of the Ford truck was taken into custody and booked into the Ada County Jail on suspicion of felony aggravated driving under the influence, according to jail records.

The Boise man previously pleaded guilty to a DUI charge in 2017, according to court records.

The Ada County Sheriff’s Office Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating the incident.
