Canyon County Sheriff’s Office deputies found a 37-year-old man dead Friday at Martin Landing, a campground west of Parma and close to the state line with Oregon, according to a news release.

The man was found Friday night after dispatch received a report of someone who was unconscious and not breathing, law enforcement said. The Sheriff’s Office ruled the death a homicide, the release said.

“At this time, we do not have a suspect in custody,” Sheriff Kieran Donahue said in a statement. “As always, if you see something that seems suspicious or out of the ordinary, please don’t hesitate to contact law enforcement.”

The Canyon County Sheriff’s Office urged anyone in the area on Friday with information that could help the case to contact the Sheriff’s Office at 208-454-7531 or Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS.
