A woman died from an overdose. Boise police arrested a man they say provided the drugs
A 50-year-old man has been charged with several felonies — including involuntary manslaughter — after the Boise Police Department said he provided a woman with drugs, and she overdosed.
In February, Boise officers responded to the 6700 block of West Fairview Avenue to assist first responders with a call regarding two people who were found unresponsive in the West Boise home, according to a police news release. There was evidence of drug use, including “drug paraphernalia and baggies of suspected narcotics,” police said.
The woman died at the home from an overdose, and the Ada County Coroner’s Office found that she had a mixture of fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine and PHP in her system, according to the release. The man was treated and released from the hospital after the incident, police said.
The Ada County Coroner’s Office named Talia Salzano, 41, of Boise, as the victim in a Wednesday news release.

Police said they learned that the man provided Salzano with the drugs, and arrested him on a warrant Monday. He was charged in two separate cases with a total of seven felonies: five counts of delivery of a controlled substance, two counts of drug trafficking methamphetamine or amphetamine, and a single count of involuntary manslaughter, online court records showed.
Under Idaho law, he could face up to life in prison on the delivery of a controlled substance charges. The man, who is being held at the Ada County Jail, appeared in court Tuesday, where a judge set his bond at a total of $650,000, according to online court and jail records.
