The Boise Police Department is asking the public for information after gunshots were fired into a home in Southeast Boise this week.

At around 1:15 a.m. Monday, police responded to the 4000 block of S. Oregon Trail Way after a report of shots fired, and officers found that multiple rounds had struck the exterior of the home and some had entered it, according to a news release.

Residents were home at the time but no one was injured, police said.

Boise police are asking any witnesses or people living in the area with surveillance video to call Ada County Dispatch at 208-377-6790 or Crime Stoppers at 208-343-2677. Tips can also be left online at www.343COPS.com.
