Update: Nampa Police find missing 26-year-old safe after asking the public for help

A missing 26-year-old was found safe, Nampa Police announced in a news release at 9:29 p.m. Saturday.

Six hours earlier, Nampa Police emailed a news release saying they’re looking for the missing person.

Nickie Burnside was “possibly taken” to the Flying J truck stop on Federal Way in Boise about 9 p.m. Friday, the initial release said. Burnside is 4 feet, 10 inches tall and 172 pounds and has curly, brown hair. She was possibly wearing a striped dress, pink sweater and Converse shoes.

“Nickie has some medical conditions that require medication and special care,” the release said.
