UPDATE: Eagle police say man accused of shoving down 2 elderly people has been located

Eagle police located and interviewed a man accused of shoving down two elderly people on the Greenbelt on Tuesday after they asked him to put his dog on a leash.

The altercation happened on the Greenbelt in Eagle behind Merrill Park, according to the Ada County Sheriff’s Office. After the couple asked the man to leash his dog, the suspect allegedly threw an 83-year-old man down an embankment and then shoved a 72-year-old woman to the ground.

The case is still under investigation and no charges have been filed yet.
