Idaho man, 22, accused of raping teenage girl in Meridian in June
A 22-year-old Meridian man has been charged with two counts of rape for allegedly sexually assaulting a teenage girl last month.
Ryan Shawn Lee was booked into the Ada County Jail on Monday morning and was still incarcerated late in the day, according to online records.
Lee is accused of raping a teenage minor more than 3 years younger than he is; both charges are felonies.
Last Saturday at 7:21 p.m., Meridian Police responded to a report stemming from incidents that allegedly happened on June 8, according to Stephany Galbreaith, Meridian public safety information officer. The girl said she met Lee on social media, corresponded with him and then met him at a residence near Overland Road in Meridian. He’s accused of raping her there.
