Boise man pleads guilty to possession of meth with intent to distribute in 2019 case
Kimber Jac Marston, 44, of Boise, has pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute more than 50 grams of methamphetamine, the Idaho U.S. Attorney’s Office announced in a news release Wednesday.
Marston was indicted by a federal grand jury in Boise on March 12, 2019. On parole for a state drug conviction, he had his residence searched by Idaho Department of Correction probation and parole officers, who found 323.25 grams of meth, a digital scale and plastic packaging that authorities said is commonly used in meth distribution.
Marston admitted that he intended to distribute the drug, officials said.
Sentencing is set for Oct. 6 before District Judge B. Lynn Winmill in Boise. Marston faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years and up to life in prison, and at least five years of supervised release. He also could be ordered to pay a fine.
