Manager of Idaho ski area charged with multiple counts of sexual battery

The general manager of an Idaho ski area faces multiple charges of sexual battery, online court documents show.

Brad Larsen, 42, is charged with seven counts of misdemeanor sexual battery, as well as one misdemeanor charge of “actual, intentional and unlawful touching or striking of another person.”

Larsen had served as the general manager of Donnelly-area Tamarack Resort since 2015. In a statement, Tamarack President Jon Reveal said Larsen recently resigned.

“We were recently made aware of the Valley County prosecutor filing charges and will cooperate with any investigation,” Reveal said in a statement provided via email. “While we are unable to speak to specific personnel matters, we can assure the community that we take seriously any conduct that impacts the safety, security and well-being of our employees and guests. The behavior alleged in these charges is unacceptable. We work to ensure a safe and respectful environment for all who work at and visit the resort.”

A criminal complaint was filed Monday by the Valley County Prosecutor’s Office, but court records show that the charges date to Jan. 26. Sexual battery charges in Idaho are punishable by up to one year in jail.

The circumstances surrounding the charges were not clear as of Tuesday.
