Law enforcement agencies in Boise and Oregon, as well as U.S. marshals, worked together Wednesday to find and arrest an Oregon man suspected of robbing a bank on Vista Avenue in Boise on Monday.

Jeffrey Marrese, 57, of Ontario, was arrested at an Ontario hotel Wednesday by Oregon authorities after a warrant was issued in the morning from Ada County prosecutors, according to a Boise Police Department press release. Several tips from the public helped identify Marrese as the suspect, police said.

Marrese allegedly demanded money from an employee at a bank in the 1100 block of S. Vista Ave. and got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. Responding officers set up a perimeter to search for a suspect Monday but were unable to locate him then, the release said.

Marrese was booked into the Malheur County Jail, where he will await extradition to Idaho, police said.
