Do you recognize this motorcyclist? The driver fled from Idaho State Police on Friday

Idaho State Police say a motorcyclist fled from a trooper early Friday morning after an attempted traffic stop, and authorities are seeking information from the public.

ISP said the trooper was involved in a short pursuit at around 2 a.m. on Curtis Road, near the Interstate 184 Connector in Boise. The driver pulled into a Jacksons gas station and failed to stop for police.

The trooper lost the motorcycle off of Morris Hill, in between Curtis and Orchard Avenue. The rear license plate of the motorcycle was bent and not legible, according to ISP.

The rider is described as wearing a dark blue jacket with tan motorcycle pants. The motorcyclist is estimated to be about 6 feet tall with a medium build.

Anyone with information is asked to call ISP at 477.
