Deputies seek information on driver who hit, injured Nampa pedestrian Monday night

Canyon County sheriff’s deputies are searching for information on a driver who hit a pedestrian and fled Monday night, leaving a 30-year-old man injured.

The hit-and-run happened around 9:30 p.m. at east Locust Lane and Ivy Drive, south of Nampa. The pedestrian told deputies that he was walking east along the roadway’s edge when he was struck.

The victim was transported to a Boise hospital and was last reported in stable condition with multiple injuries, according to a news release from the Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday.

Evidence suggests that the man was hit by a white Toyota pickup or SUV. The vehicle is believed to be between model-year 2014 and 2017 and is either a Tundra or Sequoia, with damage to the front passenger-side headlight and front fender.

The Sheriff’s Office is asking that anyone with information contact the office at 208-454-7531.
