Update: Police find 2 suspects in assault, robbery at Caldwell convenience store

Police in Baker City, Oregon, apprehended two suspects in a New Year’s Day robbery that took place at a Caldwell convenience store, and the man and woman will be extradited to Idaho to face charges, according to a Caldwell Police Department news release.

The robbery took place at a convenience store in the 5000 block of east Cleveland Boulevard.

The store clerk reported that at around 6:25 p.m., a woman — later identified by police as Jennifer Dodgson — assaulted her prior to taking money from the register, and fled to a silver Toyota Sienna van, driven by a man later identified as Guillermo Pascual. The 53-year-old clerk was not seriously injured, according to the Caldwell Police Department.

In the Thursday afternoon news release, CPD thanked the Baker City Police Department for its assistance, and also thanked members of the public for tips on the suspects’ location.
