Nampa man arrested for alleged armed robbery at Maverik convenience store, police say

Nampa Police arrested a man Tuesday after he allegedly pulled a gun on a convenience store clerk Dec. 7 and demanded cash.

Zachary Kline was charged with robbery in connection to the incident at the Maverik Country Store, 723 12th Ave. Road. Police went to his Nampa home at around 8:40 a.m. Tuesday to question him.

Kline admitted to brandishing a firearm and demanding the cash from the register, according to a Nampa PD news release. Kline allegedly left the store and the area with an accomplice after the robbery.

Police said neither the cash nor the weapon used in the robbery was recovered. Kline was booked into the Canyon County jail.
