Nampa police arrest suspect in Saturday morning credit union robbery

Nampa police on Monday arrested a 26-year-old man in connection with a weekend robbery at a local credit union, according to a Facebook post from Nampa Police Department.

David Jeremiah Miller was arrested shortly after 3:30 p.m. on Monday, police said. He was booked into the Canyon County Jail on a single charge of robbery, which is a felony. The charge carries potential prison time of five years to life.

“This arrest was the result of Nampa PD and our community coming together to identify the suspect,” the police department post said.

Police received a report of a robbery around 9 a.m. Saturday morning at the Idaho Central Credit Union located at 3101 E. Greenhurst Road.

Initial reports described the suspect as a white man in his 20s wearing a jacket with a hoodie and blue jeans.
