Update: Missing 10-year-old girl found safe in Washington

Update: Alissa Helmandollar and her mother, Brooke, were located in Cheney, Washington, following a tip sent to the Cheney Police Department. Alissa was found unharmed.

The investigation is ongoing.

The Nampa Police Department has issued an Amber Alert for a 10-year-old girl who is missing and potentially endangered.

According to police, Alissa Helmandollar was last seen Tuesday afternoon in Nampa at a hotel with her mother, 41-year-old Brooke A. Helmandollar. Police believe Alissa could be endangered because of, “Brooke’s recent threatening behavior towards Alissa.”

They are possibly headed toward Portland, Oregon, police said. The child was last seen in Hermiston, Oregon, according to authorities.

Alissa is 4-foot-10, 80 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Her mother is listed at 5-foot-4, 125 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. They are believed to be in a 2018 Nissan Sentra with Idaho license plate 1A 909DF.
