Idaho AG: Kuna man, 77, arrested on suspicion of child porn possession

Ada County Jail

Authorities arrested a 77-year-old man Thursday who is accused of possessing child pornography, according to the Idaho Attorney General’s Office.

Stanley Sanders, of Kuna, remains in custody at the Ada County Jail on five counts of possession of sexually explicit material involving a minor.

The Attorney General’s Internet Crimes Against Children Unit investigated Sanders and executed a search warrant, seizing his electronic devices, according to an AG’s news release. His arrest warrant was issued after forensic investigators completed an examination of the devices.

His bond is set at $500,000, and he was scheduled to appear in court Friday afternoon.

Anyone with information regarding the exploitation of children is encouraged to contact local police, the ICAC Unit at 208-334-4527, or the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at 1-800-843-5678.
