Police: Teen plows Jeep through Middleton home, is cited for reckless driving

A 19-year-old was arrested on a charge of reckless driving after he was accused of racing his Jeep Grand Cherokee through Middleton and crashing through the front door of a house, according to a Middleton Police Department Facebook post.

At about 7:13 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to the intersection of Cornell Street and Greenlinks Avenue for a report of a car crash. A gray Jeep was crashed nearly all the way through the house.

Another person involved was cited for the same offenses.

No injuries were reported, and no one was home at the time of the incident, according to the post.

Middleton police expressed gratitude to the Canyon County Sheriff’s Office, Intermountain Gas Company, 1 800 Board Up and the Middleton Rural Fire District for their assistance during the incident.
