Sports cards stolen, glass smashed at Boise business
Boise police are investigating a break-in at Jerry’s Rookie Shop in which more than $6,000 in collectible sports cards were stolen late Tuesday or early Wednesday.
Store owner Jerry McClusky posted about the crime Wednesday, saying the front window was broken out and the front display case was shattered. Several boxes of high-value football cards were taken, and McClusky asked Facebook friends to be on the lookout for people offering to sell the stolen items.
Boise police are investigating the incident at 3201 W. State St. as a burglary and malicious injury to property, a spokesman said. Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 208-343-COPS.
