Idaho Transportation Department is wrapping up a nearly 18-month-long project to replace the Interstate 84 Meridian Road interchange and improve I-84 between Meridian and Five Mile roads.
On Sunday and Monday, Nov. 22 and 23, crews will work overnight to stripe the new lanes, move guardrails and shift traffic into the new lanes.
Lane restrictions will be in place on I-84 under the Meridian interchange during this work. Lanes will be restricted on eastbound I-84 Sunday from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. and on westbound I-84 Monday from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
By Tuesday morning, four lanes will be open on both the eastbound and westbound sides of I-84 at the Meridian interchange.
