Three people — including two children — were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after a school bus was involved in a crash Monday morning.

The Kuna Police Department posted on social media that around 8:35 a.m. deputies were dispatched to the intersection of South Ten Mile and West Mason Creek roads in Kuna after a minivan and school bus were involved in a crash.

The bus was transporting elementary-aged children, police said. Two children on the bus, along with a passenger in the minivan, were taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the post.

The crash is under investigation. The Idaho Statesman reached out to the Ada County Sheriff’s Office for more information. The Sheriff’s Office operates the Kuna Police Department under a contract with the city.
