The St. Luke’s Meridian Medical Center is no longer on lockdown.

Stephany Galbreaith, a spokesperson for the Meridian Police Department, told the Idaho Statesman at about 5:30 p.m. that the lockdown, which went into place after a “potential threat” was detected, had been lifted.

Meridian police responded to a “domestic threat” to a St. Luke’s employee, Galbreaith said a little later — a threat from someone with whom a person is in a relationship.

Galbreaith said Meridian police were continuing to investigate the incident. No injuries were reported.

The lockdown first was in effect after 4 p.m., and police and fire arrived at the scene at about 4:35 p.m., Galbreaith said.
