Burlington, Nike. Falafel, desserts. These 9 stores, restaurants coming to Village
The Village at Meridian says nine new businesses are opening this summer, with some opening their first location in Idaho:
Burlington (opening in August) – The national brand formerly known as Burlington Coat Factory. Burlington will be located between Sierra and Gap.
Bohme (opening mid-July) – A women-owned clothing store with locations throughout Idaho, Utah, South Dakota and Montana specializing in women’s clothing and accessories. The store will be across from Clean Juice, a space formerly occupied by accessories retail store Charming Charlie.
Burnin’ Mouth (opening late June) – New-to-the-area restaurant that specializes in Nashville hot-chicken sandwiches customized for five levels of heat. Burnin’ Mouth will be across from Fleet Feet, next to Chicos.
Cotton On (opening late July) – Opening its first location in Idaho, this clothing chain says it places a major focus on sustainability in making clothing and operating the business. Cotton On will be next to H&M.
Devil & Angel (opening late June) – Opening its first location in Idaho, this dessert shop offers handcrafted soft-serve ice cream, refreshers, milk tea, bubble smoothies, boba ice cream and various doughnuts. Devil & Angel will be across from Fleet Feet, next to Chico’s.
Elase Spa (opening late August) – A Utah medical-spa chain for over a decade, Elase Spa is expanding to Idaho with its first location between Cupbop and Zullee Mediterranean Grill, across from Chick-fil-A.
Nike (opening in July) – Nike Outlet has been under remodel and will reopen.
Skechers (opening mid-July) – Skechers is a lifestyle and athletic footwear store for men, women and kids. The new store will replacePier 1 next to Nike and Petco.
Zullee Mediterranean Grill (opening in July) – Opening its first location in Idaho, this Eastern Washington chain’s offerings include kabobs, falafel dinners and gyro sandwiches. The restaurant will be located across from Chick-fil-A.
Jobs available
The Village says it provides work for over 2,000 employees. With existing Village locations still working to reach full staffing after the pandemic, the addition of new businesses will bring more retail and employment opportunities, according to a news release from CenterCal Properties.
”The Village at Meridian continues to thrive, attracting an amazing list of new tenants opening stores,” General Manager Hugh Crawford said in a news release.
