Motorcyclist injured and cited as reckless after crash at Nampa intersection
A 43-year-old Caldwell man will be cited for reckless driving after a late-morning crash on Caldwell Boulevard that sent him to a local hospital with injuries described as not life-threatening, Nampa police Sgt. Tim Riha said Monday.
The man was reportedly driving a Harley Davidson between lanes of travel and ran a red light at Middleton Road, Riha said. A southbound car on Middleton crossed the boulevard on a green light and hit the westbound motorocycle, Riha said.
The motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet, he said. No other injuries were reported.
