About 5,000 without power after vehicle crashes into power pole

A vehicle versus power pole crash led to an outage impacting about 5,000 Idaho Power customers across parts of Southwest Boise, Meridian and Kuna, according to the Idaho Power outage line.

A crew is in route to fix the problem, but there’s no estimated time for the issue to be fixed.
