Update: Car, concrete truck collide near Nampa
Two people were injured Thursday afternoon when a passenger vehicle collided with a concrete truck at Franklin Boulevard and US20 near Nampa.
Lazaro I. Nunez-Elizalde, 23, of Meridian, was driving north on Franklin Boulevard and did not stop at a stop sign on US 20, Idaho State Police said. Nunez-Elizalde pulled in front of a concrete truck driven by Jeremy T. Loftis, 39, of Layton, Utah. The concrete truck, a 1989 Mack, over turned authorities said.
Nunez-Elizalde was driving a 2005 Infiniti GS35.
Both drivers were wearing seatbelts. They were taken to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center. Nunez-Elizalde was treated and released. Loftis was listed in fair condition.
