Man arrested after Nampa standoff

Police arrested a man Monday following a stand-off in Nampa.

Kyle Grenz has yet to be charged — he’s been taken into custody for questioning — but police believe he was holing up in a woman’s home. After a domestic dispute Sunday night a woman sought NPD’s help returning to her home at the intersection of Sugar Street and Spicewood Avenue. They escorted her and then noticed signs that Grenz was still in the home, according to Nampa Police Department.

Police brought a SWAT team and MRAP to the scene and blocked off the street. But, as soon as they arrived, Grenz surrendered peacefully, according to NPD.

No one was injured in the incident.
