Missing Payette girls found safe

Two 12-year-old girls who were described as endangered runaways Tuesday has been found safe as of Wednesday morning, a Payette County dispatcher said.

The girls, Elizabeth Davis and Ariana Amaya, had last been seen Monday at McCain Middle School.

Information about why the girls were gone or where they were found was not available Wednesday. They have been reunited with their families, according to the Payette Police Department’s Facebook page.
