Caldwell man injured in single-vehicle crash

A Caldwell man was transported to the hospital after rolling his vehicle on Interstate 84 near Caldwell Saturday afternoon, according to Idaho State Police.

Nicholas Pacheco, 38, of Caldwell, was driving his 1997 Ford Ranger west on I-84 when he reportedly lost control. The vehicle went off the shoulder and rolled near milepost 31.

Pacheco was transported to the hospital, but his current health status is unknown.

The right lane was blocked for about 2 hours. Investigators determined Pacheco had not been wearing his seatbelt. The crash is still under investigation.
