The collision occurred at about 10 p.m. Sunday on Idaho 55 near Montana Avenue in Caldwell, according to Idaho State Police.
Police say 47-year-old Elvis Mahurin of Kuna had been traveling north in a Dodge pickup and was making a U-turn when the crash happened.
A southbound Suzuki Verona collided with Johnson’s pickup, then rolled, coming to rest on its top, police said.
Cory Johnson, a 28-year-old Caldwell resident, was at the wheel of the Suzuki.

Both Mahurin and Johnson were wearing seatbelts, but the six passengers in Johnson’s car were not, and they were ejected, ISP reports. All of the occupants of Johnson’s vehicle were taken by ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise.
The highway was blocked for about two hours while the wreckage was removed, ISP reports.
