Caldwell man dies in E. Oregon crash

Lawrence Demarse Jr., 52, died at the scene of the one-vehicle crash on Oregon 201S south of Nyssa Wednesday morning, Oregon State Police report.

OSP reports Demarse was headed north in his pickup truck about 8 a.m. when he failed to negotiate a curve and went off the roadway. The pickup went airborne, then rolled, and Demarse was ejected, OSP reports.

The crash is still under investigation, OSP said in a news release.
