UPDATE: Boise man killed in head-on crash on U.S. 20-26

Glenn Post, 60, died at the scene after his Toyota Rav4 crossed the center line near milepost 13 west of Notus about 12:20 p.m. Friday and collided with a semi-truck, Idaho State Police report.

Post was not wearing a seat belt, ISP reports. The truck driver, 32-year-old Jose Escobar of Anaheim, Calif., was wearing a seat belt and was not reported as injured.

Traffic in both directions was blocked at the crash scene for about five and a half hours as troopers investigated and crews worked to clear the scene, ISP reports. The crash remains under investigation.
