Idaho woman killed in rollover crash in Caldwell. State police investigating

A Caldwell woman died Friday morning after her car left the road, police said.

The woman, who was 49, was driving a 1997 Ford Explorer on Farmway Road in Caldwell when the vehicle “went off the right shoulder, overcorrected, crossed the southbound lane, and rolled into a nearby field,” the Idaho State Police said in a news release.

The woman was not wearing a seat belt, police said. She died at the scene. The Idaho State Police are investigating.
