Woman dies at scene of Boise-area crash after her car drifts off roadway, hits tree
One person died in a Canyon County crash on Monday, police said.
A 43-year-old woman from Caldwell was driving west on East Homedale Road when her vehicle drifted off the north shoulder of the roadway, according to an Idaho State Police news release.
Police said the car hit a tree at 4:13 p.m. near the Compass Way intersection in Caldwell.
The driver, who was not wearing her seat belt, died from her injuries at the scene, according to police.
Idaho State Police is investigating.
