Update: On Saturday, Nampa police said Rudy was found safe, according to a social media post. Reyes, his father who does not have custody, is still wanted by law enforcement. Police asked anyone with knowledge about Reyes’ location to “use caution and call law enforcement.”

The Nampa Police Department issued an Amber Alert at about 3 p.m. on Thursday.

Police were looking for a 2-year-old boy named Rudy Reyes. He was taken from a location at 81 N. Yale St. in Nampa and was last seen at the Stinker gas station at 803 12th Ave. S. in Nampa, according to the alert.

Rudy was described in the alert as 2 feet tall with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray-and-white T-shirt with a hooded sweatshirt and diaper. He had no pants or shoes on, according to the alert.

The alert named 36-year-old Rodolfo Reyes as the suspect. Reyes was described as 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs 190 pounds and has brown hair with black eyes. He has tattoos on his head, face and neck that say “woman hat,” “Lil Rudy,” “southside cliq,” Joelle, “M” and “horn.”

Police believed Reyes was in a gray 2008 Lexus with Idaho license plate number 2CTJ790 or a gray 2018 Honda Civic with Idaho plate number O19YOR.

Anyone with information concerning Rudy was asked to call 911 or Nampa police at 208-465-2293.
