Idaho State Police: Man dies in single-car crash south of Lake Lowell
A Texas man died early Friday after he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a parked excavator south of Lake Lowell in Canyon County, according to Idaho State Police.
The 1:47 a.m. crash happened near the intersection of Lewis Lane and Farner Road, south of Lake Lowell, when the 2009 Mercedes GL350 he was driving was westbound on Lewis Lane.
Odlanyer Angulo, 34, of Von Ormy, Texas, went through the intersection with Farner Road and drove off the south side of the road and into a field, where his vehicle struck a small excavator parked in the field, ISP said.
Angulo died at the scene and the crash remains under investigation by ISP.
