Idaho State Police reported that around 5 a.m. Monday, a 19-year-old motorcyclist died after a crash in Caldwell.
The crash occurred at the intersection of 10th Avenue and Fillmore Street when Richard Cook, of Riggins, was driving east on Fillmore Street on a 1979 Honda motorcycle.
Meanwhile, Daniel Lasiter, 27, of Caldwell, was eastbound on 10th Avenue in a 1996 Chevrolet Blazer. Cook failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with the Blazer, according to ISP.
Cook was thrown from the motorcycle, was not wearing a helmet and later died at a Boise hospital.

Lasiter was wearing a seat belt and was taken to West Valley Medical Center in Caldwell for treatment.
The crash is under investigation by ISP.
