It’s the second year in a row that the Jehovah’s Witnesses have held their regional convention at the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa, drawing thousands to the arena.
The three-day event began Friday.
Convention spokesman Royce Porkert told the Statesman that Nampa is a central location for attendees from Idaho, Nevada and Oregon. Officials estimated attendance at around 5,000 people.
The theme of this year’s convention looked at positivity and happiness in the face of problems.
