Parma worker injured by forklift
A worker in Parma was taken to the hospital Thursday after an industrial accident with a forklift.
Parma Fire Chief James Cook said crews responded about 11:45 a.m. Thursday to a call about someone being struck by a forklift.
The accident happened near JC Watson Co. onion company, whose primary shed is in Parma.
The man, whose name was not given, was taken by air ambulance to a hospital in Boise.
Cook did not know the man’s condition as of Thursday afternoon.
